Submission Guidelines
ART to the MAX
Exhibit dates: November 20, 2025 - January 10, 2026
Specifications The 3RD Annual Art to the Max competition is open to all fine art mediums with the exception of digital art and photography.
All works MUST be original. No reproductions. No exceptions.
Gallery of Art is a "for sale" gallery. All work submitted should be for sale and
the Gallery of Art works on a 25% commission on all sold work.
All entries must have been created or produced within the last 3 years. The work must should show your "MAXimum" effort.
No entries may depict copyrighted images, characters or logos unless the copyright is owned by the artist. The only exception is if it is a parody, which
is allowed under the "fair use" policy.
All work must be "ready to hang". Our gallery uses a wire system all
works must be wired with D-Rings, on the back, 3” from top. This is the most secure way to hang art on our gallery walls. (see picture below) All work should be titled and signed by the artist. Unframed canvas art must have the edges painted.
Maximum 2D size is 30" wide X 36" height including the frame.
3D artwork is accepted with the following restrictions: No work can weigh more than 50 lbs. All 3D works are required to have a display base. The "foot print" of the artwork can not exceed 30"X 30". The Gallery of Art has limited amount of pedestals. Please reserve a pedestal ahead. (850-257-5568).
Artwork can be submitted as a JPG, PNG, or PDF (galleryofart850@gmail.com) OR you can Hand Deliver your work to GOA. Deadline for your digital image is midnight, Friday November 7, 2025. Hand delivered entries will be received at the Gallery on Friday, November 14 from 11am–5pm and Saturday, November 15 from 11am–5pm, unless other arrangements are made in advance (850-257-5568). This is a landline, so no text messages.
Submitted artwork is juried prior to judging. Artists will be notified of their acceptance or rejection by Monday, November 17th. Your phone number is required. Artwork not accepted will need to be picked up by November 20th at 5pm. No exceptions.
Nudes are acceptable. Violence or lewd sexual content is prohibited.
Eligibility for Art to the MAX. The competition is open to all residents living in the 850 area code. Age requirement is from age 16 and up.
Entry Fee: Each artist is allowed to enter ONE piece of work for this juried competition. There is a non refundable entry fee of $45.
Sales and Commission: The Gallery of Art is a "for sale" gallery. All work entered must be for sale. The Gallery of Art retains a commission of 25% for all artwork sold. The price listed on the entry form must include the 25% commission. Gallery of Art will handle all sales. All art will remain on display for the duration of the exhibition. The Art to the MAX exhibition is from November 20, 2025 through January 10, 2026.
Artists will be compensated for the sale of their artwork from the Gallery by check, within 2 weeks of the closing of the exhibition which will be on January 10, 2026.
Liability: We suggest that artists carry their own insurance. The Gallery of Art will
not be responsible for damage incurred during transit. While in the custody of the GOA, all art will be locked behind a wrought iron gate and a locked deadbolt door.
The building has an ADT security alarm system, including seven cameras inside and outside.
The Gallery of Art does not have insurance to protect the artwork in it's possession.
The Gallery of Art's owners, employees, volunteers, interns or anyone connected with the exhibit, will not be responsible for loss or damage, however caused. Submission of artwork for this show indicates acceptance of these conditions.
Publicity: Your entry into this exhibition constitutes permission for the Gallery of Art to photograph or reproduce any and all works for the purpose of advertising, publicity or archival records without compensation to the artist.

acceptance by 6 pm, Saturday November 8th.

All work must be ready to hang and meet exhibition specifications.

Notification of acceptance or non-acceptance into Art to the Max

Pick up artwork that has not been sold from 11am to 5 pm.
You will be told if your work sells, or if you visit and see a red dot.
All entries will be judged by two out of town respected art professionals. One judge is from Tallahassee, Florida and another judge is from Tampa, Florida the judges names and bios will be after the juried selections are made.
